How fast are coordinators expected to respond?

On this website, what are the requirements for coordinators to respond to posts? Is there an SLA?

An extension to this question: what are the recommended best practices for corporate discussions boards for coordinator roles and responsibilities? Should we set up service levels on the frequency or timeliness of coordinators responding to discussion board posts?

Any guidance? I thought this might have been a hot topic.

CodePlex doesn't have any requirements around coordinators responding to forum posts.  You really have to consider the nature of open source projects, the majority are personal hobbies that people do in their free time without any form of compensation, so something like an SLA expectation just wouldn't be realistic (e.g. consider if the person is on vacation).

For corporations using open source software (other then the major ones like Linux and Firefox) they usually set up a plan to be self-sufficient to the degree of troubleshooting and fixing the code themselves if they have a significant problem.
