Set Release while closing issues

description

When I release a new version of my software, I go through and close all fixed issues. This is a slow two-step process as I have to Edit, change the release, scroll all the way to the bottom and hit save, then click Close.
Could the Close issue dialog allow you to optionally update the Release as well?

Are you using TFS? If so, you can use excel integration from the VS Client to bulk update issues.

no, I am using Mercurial for source control
