Download release notes limited to small size

description

I have over 200 lines worth of release notes but the HTML edit that allows me to enter those release notes seems to have some ridiculously small limit. Please increase this limit to allow for more realistically sized release notes.

Any update on this, I'm running of space on my release notes for the bug fixes etc that have been done, can you increase the limit to a reasonable 1000 characters

I'll make sure it's in the backlog. I assume you mean 10,000 instead of 1000. The limit is currently 4000 characters.

Yes 10,000 atleast. (typo).

Here's the situation, my CURRENT release notes would fit in 10,000 characters (BTW tehre's a bug if I put a name like THIS_IS_A_TEST, it removes all the underscores).

But I want to put the entire running history for changes, than 10,000 is too short, will need a much higher limit like maybe 250,000 or so.

My question is why should there a limit on the number of characters?

Sorry to bug but is there some way to fast track this one minor feature request?

I'm out of release notes space and it's holding up my next release I don't want to make a release with incomplete notes.

We have it prioritized, we'll likely be able to get it through in the next few weeks. As a workaround you can create a new documentation page on your project and provide a hyperlink in the release notes.

Thanks, but I'm still running out of space. I have like 700 characters left.

Can I request for an increase to 20,000 characters in teh next release?
