The recommended release is shown on a project's homepage, along with its download statistics and its reviews. However, when creating a new recommended release the new release's stats are shown with zero downloads and no reviews. Displaying these stats on the front page can be a bit misleading for new visitors, as it will seem as no one has ever downloaded anything from the project. Positive reviews are also influential on visitors, and it's too bad that these are "lost" once you create a new recommended release.

I would like to suggest two minor, but important changes to the stats shown on a project's home page:

• In addition to the current release's download stats, display total number of downloads for the project or downloads the last month/six months or whatever. Include a number that indicates some of the project's history.
• Show the e.g. the last 5 reviews related to the project, so that reviews aren't "lost" when you create a new release. Positive reviews don't come easy, let us keep them on display!
