Coordinator should be able to delete wiki pages

It's way too easy to mistype a wiki link, and then it's there forever. Also it's handy to sometimes create test pages, it seems to be pretty common that when you get your first project, you create a bunch of test pages to get used to the wiki, not realizing you can never delete them.

Feature Request: Give coordinators the ability to delete wiki pages.

Thanks Brannon, does this one look familiar? :-)

Hope things are going okay for you at the new site.

I agree, Its very painful not to be able to delete old wiki pages. We can;t ven delete all its content and save.

Oh come on! Why am I able to create and edit pages but not being able to delete them? This is ridiculous...

Agree with you.

Wow, really, you can't delete a page? Thats sort of Wiki 101...

As a workaround (though I agree deleting pages should be supported, and have voted on this) you can unlink wiki pages by editing the parent wiki page (if deleting a parent) or just remove any links to othe wiki pages thus orphaning those pages. You can still always get back to them by typing in the URL directory or viewing the history of all pages and finding your last edit for those orphaned pages.

I would vote for Heaths' idea, if I actually needed the functionality. :)

Is it STILL not possible to delete a wiki page?

In the cases where this happened and I would have needed to delete one, I instead completely renamed it and moved it over (like wiping a word document, giving it new contents, saving it, then renaming the file).
