Pull Request Listing, Recent Releases in Followed Projects, and Projects You May Like
We now provide the ability to view a history of all of the pull requests that have been sent. Additionally, if you’re following any projects, and you’re signed into CodePlex homepage, we added a list of recent releases in all of the projects that you’re following and a list of Projects You May Like.

Pull Request Diff Notes, Adding Changesets, and a Vertical Splitter
We have added the ability to add notes to files that are submitted as part of a pull request, and the ability to update a pull request with change sets that have been added since the pull request was sent. Also, the inline diff and source control browser views have been updated with an adjustable vertical splitter that allows you to expand/shrink the file/diff view to your liking.

Work Item Notifications and Recommended Download
Users can subscribe to receive Work Item notifications via email at the project level (not just per individual work items). Users now have the option receive email as issues come in or in a daily digest form. Finally, all projects now feature a Download Now button on their homepage. This is to help users download software as easily and quickly as possible.

Donate Ad Revenue To Charity and New Editor Role
By clicking just 2 check boxes, any project owner can donate their ad revenues to Habitat for Humanity Int’l. We also introduced a new CodePlex Editor role where this team member can only modify the wiki, for example, no write access to source code repository, no access to edit work item details, etc. Finally, we’ve added the ability for you to edit your own work item content, in case you’ve made a typo or need to update steps to reproduce an issue.

Wiki Engine now available as a Codeplex project, Reply with Quotes, New Wiki Macros
WikiPlex, our wiki engine, is now available as an open source project on CodePlex. In the discussion boards, we’ve added the ability to reply with quoted text. Alongside the release of WikiPlex, we added a couple of new macros that allows you to right align and left align text and images.

My Favorite Projects, New Profile Pages, and a Source Code Diff tool
Users can now mark a project as a favorite and have it show up in their profile page under "My Favorite Projects." We needed to redesign the profile pages to implement the My Favorite Projects feature. The most notable design change to the profile pages is separating the “public view” from the “edit your info” page. Finally, we're introducing a (beta) source code diff tool that’s available at the file level of each changeset.

Project Ads by The Lounge, Direct Link to Latest Check-in, Site RSS Feed Updates, Insert Code Snippet in Posts, New Wiki Markup Macros
Highlights from this release include: 1) project owners can now host advertisements on their project pages from The Lounge. 2) You can now insert a code snippet into a discussion post via the Insert Code Snippet button. This will display a window for you to post in your code and to preview with syntax highlighting. 3) We’ve updated the Source Code tab to bring you the Browse or Download the latest version. 4) We’ve tweaked the CodePlex site RSS feed. New Projects and New Releases are listed first with their descriptions, whereas most popular and most downloaded are listed at the bottom. 5) We’ve added a few wiki macros to the collection.

Filter by work items that you’re tracking
In this release, we continued to work on the email notifications for work items feature by adding the ability to filter just by the work items you’re tracking. We also made optimizations in our web architecture to improve server utilization for better handling the increased traffic levels.

Hyperlink images in wiki pages, new homepage tweaks, new TinyMCE Editor, and new Flot stats chart
With this release, hyperlinking images in wiki pages is now supported. Our May 7th release also saw some substantial tweaks to our homepage including moving the project search to the left, since it is the primary action people visiting the homepage will take. Additionally, discussion boards are now using TinyMCE Editor and our stat pages now use the Flot chart.

Email Notifications for Work Item Changes
You can now subscribe to a work item to receive email. For those of you not subscribed via RSS, no more having to revisit the CodePlex site to check the status of your bug or feature request. Another feature we’ve added in this release is the ability to directly link to a file in your releases page. Additionally, we renamed the “Releases” tab to the “Downloads” tab.

Syntax Highlighting for PHP and CSS files
This release focused primarily on various infrastructure improvements to improve performance, especially during peak traffic hours. During the infrastructure improvements, we were still able to add a couple minor feature enhancements to our syntax highlighting, specifically adding support for PHP and CSS files.

Project subdomain URLs and separate RSS feed for reviews
All project pages are now in the form of projectname.codeplex.com. A few months ago, we introduced this feature at the project homepage level. Now, we’ve implemented it site-wide. We also responded to feedback that there was too much noise in the RSS feed for release updates. We created a separate RSS feed for reviews, so moving forward, you can get updates when new releases come out without any of the user reviews.

New Custom Field in the Issue Tracker
Work items in the issue tracker now have a custom field where you can add or edit whatever text you want, in case you need additional fields not already supported. You can search for your Custom field text in both the basic and advance views.

Support for Silverlight and Wiki Improvements
As a project owner, you can now put a Silverlight app on your project pages. Also included in this release are improvements to the wiki comments. No more random comments on the homepage, but you can still leave comments on all other wiki pages. In addition, you can now view all new comments across all wiki pages in a single place.

New Project Directory Search and Source Control Browser
The Project Directory has a new search UI. Highlights include drilling down on search results either on the tag or the release development status, searching based on a release’s development status in the advanced search, and the ability to search by license(s) in the advanced search. We also released the source code browser that can be found in the Source Code tab.

CodePlex is now offering server support for SvnBridge, the tool that enables TortoiseSVN to talk to Team Foundation Server. Support for Subversion has been our number one requested feature, and by hosting SvnBridge, our users can now use their favorite Subversion client with any project.

Searching by Relevance
We now provide the ability to search based on user relevance. Search results are based on a ranking algorithm that factors in the project title, project URL, project description, homepage wiki text, and user-defined tags, based on a weighted score, page hits, and tops tags.

Ratings and Reviews
Signed-in users can rate projects from one to five stars, and have the option of detailing their feedback in a review. Ratings and reviews are release-specific and are displayed on the Releases tab.

Project Discussions Mailing Lists
Our latest deployment adds mailing list support for project discussions: start or respond to a discussion from your e-mail client; get notifications of new responses as they come in, or in daily digest format. Now users can subscribe to an entire project’s discussions, including all new discussions posted to the project.

Syntax Highlighting
We added syntax highlighting to the source code browser. When you browse source files checked in under the Source Control tab, you’ll get syntax highlighting. Currently, we support the follow programming languages and file extensions:

* JavsScript (.js) *

Telerik RadEditor for Project Discussions
we released the latest version of the CodePlex software featuring the Telerik RadEditor on the Project Discussion pages. The RadEditor features include: font choice, font size, font style, bullet points and numbering, indent, outdent, horizontal rule, hyperlinks, and spell check.

Projects Stats Pages
Our new project stats pages provide details for downloads, page views, visits, and referrals over the project lifetime. Additionally, the project’s stats can be viewed in weekly, monthly, and yearly segments.
