Underscore using wiki markup

How can I insert an underscore character in a word without using code markers? When I tried to do it, the underscore was interpreted as an italics starting :-(

Thanks.

An example. Copy & paste the following text in a wiki page:

One mention to CONSTANT_NAME, no problem.

Two mentions to CONSTANTNAME in the same line. Here's the second one: CONSTANTNAME. Now we have a problem :-(

This is definitely a bug.

Underline wiki markup not consistent.

Oops, that wasn't helpful. :-p

We included some new wiki markup in yesterday's deployment to help solve this issue. Normally when we see two underscores on the same line, we think you want the text between the underscores to be italicized. We added the ability to tell the wiki engine to ignore markup and treat it as literal text.

So, if you want to display CONSTANT_NAME in the wiki, you can wrap the text in:

{" CONSTANT_NAME "}

Now you can put text like CONSTANT_NAME on the line more than once:

CONSTANT_NAME CONSTANT_NAME
