TFS 2010

When will you be moving to TFS 2010, or at least providing TFS2010 as an option?

We haven't determined when yet.  We don't plan to upgrade to the TFS 2010 beta 1 since it isn't supported for production usage or guaranteed to have a smooth upgrade path to beta 2.

I would differ from that statement, but only offline!

Well, below is an excerpt from the TFS beta 1 announcement.  Possibly it's conservative, but it is the official position anyway.

"This Beta release is really for evaluation only and does not come with a “go-live” license. We won’t be supporting it for production use and upgrading assets from Beta 1 to Beta 2 will likely have some hiccups." - http://blogs.msdn.com/bharry/archive/2009/05/18/vs-vsts-2010-and-net-4-0-beta-1-is-available.aspx

Hi,

Does it means that it's not possible to connect to CodePlex using Visual Studio 2010 as a client ?

Thanks,

No it just means that you need to tweek your client... A work around is in the documentation for Codeplex and it has been fixed for VS2010 beta 2
