I'm pretty new in SharePoint, I just installed my first portal.
I successfully imported users from Active Directory and I can see them in Central Administration, SharedServices1 > User Profile and Properties > View User Profiles.
But, when I want to add these users to my site in Home > Site Settings > Permissions > Add Users I cannot see them!
I tried to write down user name or email address in Users/Groups box and click on Check Names -> I get "No exact match was found".
I tried with Browse -> can find only users like administrator, NT AUTHORITY\authenticated users, NT AUTHORITY\local service, SHAREPOINT\system.
Did I miss some steps after importing users?
It's MOSS2007 with SP1 on MS Win Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition SP2.
