Migrating from SourceForge to CodePlex

I'm attempting to migrate a project from SourceForge.  This project has a large revision history that is important, so I don't want to just commit one revision.  The project is currently under source control with subversion.  I took a look at svnsync, but this seems to require a hook to be in place on the target repository.

Does the SVN bridge allow something that would look like a hook to satisfy svnsync?  If that is not the case, does anyone know where I can get the source to svnsync to make a modified version that I can use to migrate my source tree to CodePlex?

My second issue is getting my bug tracker items moved over from sourceforge.  There doesn't appear to be any way to export the items from the bug tracker, so I was expecting to write a piece of JavaScript that would scrape the bug tracker items out of sourceforge's web site and dump them as an XML file.  The question then becomes: now what?  How do I mass-import my work items into CodePlex?

Any and all suggestions/comments appreciated.  Thanks!
