Markdown doesn't like spaces in URLs; Source control viewer requires them.

Hi everyone,

CodePlex's markdown format seems to have a problem with spaces in URLs. For example, the following link points to a source code document on CodePlex that contains spaces in the URL after the hash:

[Link](https://rxx.codeplex.com/SourceControl/latest#Main/Source/Rxx/System/Either - LeftValue.cs)

Now, you might say that's not a problem because we can simply replace spaces with + or %20; however, apparently CodePlex's source control viewer doesn't like that:

Link +

Link %20

Clicking on either of the previous two links navigates to an error page rather than the source file.

Any suggestions how I can create a working link in this case?

I guess I'd prefer if the markdown format simply allowed spaces in URLs. Though supporting encoded spaces in the source control viewer would solve my particular problem as well, and it doesn't seem like such a bad idea either. :)

Thanks,
- Dave

I see what you are saying. While https://rxx.codeplex.com/SourceControl/latest#Main/Source/Rxx/System/Either%20-%20LeftValue.cs works well in FF, it doesn't work in either IE or Chrome. Thanks for reporting this.

Hi,

Interesting, I didn't even think to try another browser. Thanks for your reply.
