Server 2008

I have a Server 2008 Ent on a K: and Vista Ultim on C: my ISP DHCP keeps issuing the same IP to both machines so I can never access the Server and the Vista at the same time because of IPv4/6 issues. Is there some way around this. I set the Server IPv6 to a private IP static but I have to create an instance to work around the main gateway ISP address. What I would like is to have the server control the private network as is but I would like to configure the children path to the Vista in order to use both Server and Vista such as a remote desktop kind of situation. I guess the goal is to create a ASP to use for a Visual Studio project that is on the Vista and keep track of the XML on the namespace monitored on the Server path.

I don't think anyone can help or understand but there is always hope. And not Obama hope but McCain hope.

Best Regards,
