how to add codec G723.1 to Vista

I am a medical transcriptionist and the program (ExpressScribe) I use to listen to .wav files wont work in the new Vista laptop I have because it is missing (as far as my research has shown) the G723.1 codec, a codec used in VoIP items or in  a truespeech type of program.  I have tried everything adding codec programs like K-lite, etc but nothing seems to work but they dont have the G723.1 codec ...   How can I get this and put it in Vista so I can transcribe on my laptop and be more mobile in my work and not just use my old desktop computer that has XP on it.  Actually I like many features in Vista and would rather use it if possible.  Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me!  Joyce
