HTML Markup - Anchors and Links

Hi,

I've updated many of my Wiki Markup pages to HTML Markup, but I've not found an option to add anchors in the HTML Markup. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem since I have direct access to modify the HTML, but very recently I've noticed an issue which makes it literally impossible to create links to my anchors. The moment I save the page, all links to my anchors are prefixed with "x_" and all "x_" prefixes are removed from anchor names. I've added the following example to help clarify the problem.

Before clicking the save button:

<p><a href="#myanchor">My Anchor</a></p>
<p><a name="x_x_myanchor"></a></p>

After clicking the save button:

<p><a href="#x_myanchor">My Anchor</a></p>
<p><a name="myanchor"></a></p>

I've tried a number of different things to bypass this problem, such as using Windows Live Writer to edit my pages, but nothing has worked. I've also noticed this breaks existing pages with previously working links and anchors. At this moment, my only option seems to be reverting to Wiki Markup which, in some cases, means losing an awful lot of work. Does anyone know of a solution that does not involve reverting to a previous version?

Thanks in advance,
Stephen

The solution that worked for me was to include the full url to the anchor.

Such as http://www.mywebsite.org/#myanchor

That worked! Of course, now I feel silly for not having thought of it. ;)

Thanks a lot!
