Polish special characters.

Hi

I just try to add forums for people from Poland. But I can’t use our special characters like:
acelnószz
ACELNÓSZZ
When I try to use it – forum scrip just change them to
acelnószz
ACELNÓZZ

Can you provide some info about how you would generally enter these characters into an HTML document you were authoring? What is the standard way of supporting these characters? Through a unicode/UTF-8 interface? Through character entities?

In Poland we are using two standards - 8859-2 or UTF-8 which I think is more flexible. HTML entities can be hard to implement.

Yesterday's deployment should support both UTF-8 and HTML character entities in the wiki now. Right now the wiki is the only place we support extended characters but you can expect to see additional support in the future.

If you want to use an HTML character entity in the wiki you can embed it directly like so:
